CUSTOM CABINETRY
Overview
After years of designing kitchens, I found myself getting frustrated with design limitations, low-grade materials, poor quality control, and long lead times. Over the past year, I have done some custom designs with a skilled craftsman. I gave him more and more work as a result of not being able to get what I wanted or needed from the big box manufacturers. Most people think custom cabinets are not obtainable due to budget constraints. Therefore, RS Design Custom Cabinets was born out of the idea that custom cabinetry can be accessible and affordable.
Design
Your kitchen cabinets are like a tailored piece of clothing; they should fit into your space perfectly. In order to do that, we need to break away from the standard sizes of cabinetry. This is where the customization comes in. We can work around an existing structure, modify a cabinet to meet a certain opening size, and more. We will work with you to design not only a beautiful space, but a functional one as well. A well-designed kitchen is about so much more than just the cabinet layout. There are a million decisions that have to be made, and we will help guide you through all of them.
Curated Finishes / Materials
Your cabinets will be built to order using the finest of materials built to last. We use the highest-grade lumber for doors, face frames, and drawers while also using maple plywood for cabinet boxes. Our craftsman team specializes in making cabinets for your kitchen, bathroom, mudroom, and more. We offer various woods such as maple and white oak along with any paint color from Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams.
Why Choose RS Design Custom Cabinetry?
Our focus is on you and your cabinets. We will work with you one-on-one to create the kitchen of your dreams. As an associate kitchen and bath designer through the NKBA, and many years working in the Interior Design industry I have the knowledge, skills, and experience to design and document the specifics to customize your cabinet needs. We think kitchens and all areas with cabinetry must be considered with the architecture of the space.
